Australian News Channel Pty Ltd (‘Australian News Channel’) is part of the PBL Media group. PBL presently holds a 50% interest in the PBL Media group.
On the 1st June 2007, PBL announced that it had sold a further 25% share in PBL Media to CVC with settlement expected to occur, subject to FIRB approval, in July.
Following completion of the transaction, PBL shall hold a 25% share in the PBL Media group.

The PBL Media group comprises ACP Magazines, Nine Network (including its interest in Australian News Channel), a 50% interest in Ninemsn, a 48.75% shareholding in myhome.com.au and a majority shareholding in carsales.com.au.
